Job Description:
The successful candidate will work with and support a seasoned Survey Crew Chief(s) in the field to ensure that projects are completed safely, accurately, and professionally. The Crew Chief will act as mentor and actively train the candidate for a career in land surveying. You may continue with a career path in the field and become a Crew Chief, or transition into the office where you'll draft, manage projects, and potentially become a licensed land surveyor. Daily tasks will include downloading point files to and from the data collector and computer, making sure the field trick is stocked, assist in performing field tasks as directed by the Crew Chief. Typical projects control, boundary, topographic, utility, ALTA, verification, and monitor surveying. We collect field data using survey grade equipment including conventional total stations. We work with engineers, architects, landscape architects, developers, and public agencies. Travel is required to and from job sites.
