Event Description: Reservations are now being accepted for the Tour West County Expo & Developer Showcase, coming up May 28th at Tipton Airport. This year’s expanded program will include TWO bus tours, one of the Odenton Town Center and BRAC construction on Fort Meade, including DISA headquarters, and the second to the rapidly expanding Hanover/Arundel Mills area, including the site of the new slots and entertainment venue proposed by The Cordish Companies. The tours will be held at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. respectively, with the Expo running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and including free menu samplings from area restaurants. Cost to attend the bus tours is $40/one tour, $65 for both; Expo-only admission is free. Registration for the Odenton/BRAC tour MUST be received by May 22nd in order to allow adequate time for processing security clearances to access Fort Meade.
