Event Description: The West County Chamber Foundation is pleased to announce a joint fundraiser with the Y of Central Maryland, which is exploring sites to build a Y in West County. It will be held on Thursday, September 24th at Madison Interiors from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with the theme Healthy Earth, Healthy Families, and we hope to use the event to raise awareness of green building practices and other organic and green merchants in the area. We will feature local and organic wines and ales (courtesy of Hops & Vines), and catering by La Prima Catering. Cost to attend is $35/person, and reservations can be made by clicking Healthy Earth, Healthy Families or by calling the Chamber office at 410-672-3422. Sponsorship opportunities are available, and include display space at the event. See attached flyers for more information. Both the Chamber Foundation and the Y of Central Maryland are 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, so you can deduct the non-advertising portion of your contribution as a charitable expense.
